Her professional journey began as an amateur athlete, participating in various regional promotion prior to signing with Invicta Fighting Championships. And then she joined Ultimate Fighting Championships. Due to her successes within and outside of the Octagon, Namajunas is an everyday word ever since her joining the UFC. Namajunas had his birth on the 29th of June 1992, within Milwaukee Wisconsin. He was raised by an ethnically diverse Lithuanian family. Rose was a basketball player and kickboxing as she grew to maturity. Invicta Fighting Championships signed her at age 18 and she went on to beat two opponents via submission. Dana White noticed this and in December 2014, aged 22 she signed her for a fight as a strawweight with UFC. Rose has experienced highs and lows in her career, however, she has always come out triumphant. Rose took on Carla Esparza in April 2015 in the Women's Strawweight Title. She won the fight by technical knockout within 3 minutes of the first round. It was the first ever female to fight to win a title in any major promotion worldwide. Namajunas was able to record many other victories, including 2 victories over Joanna Jedrzejczyk that earned her the title of Performance of the Night by UFC.
